Designing email templates
Build an email with blocks, in each of your languages, with your brand and personal details.
A template is an email you design once and use in any campaign or automation. Go to Email › Templates and start from a layout or a blank page.

Building the email
- Drag blocks into the email, or click one to add it: Title, Text, Image, Button, Columns, Video, Social, Divider and Spacer.
- Sections are ready-made groups of blocks, such as a hero with a button or three features side by side.
- Select a block, or a row of columns, and choose Save as section to reuse it in other templates.
- Switch between Desktop and Mobile to see both. A block can be hidden on mobile, or shown on mobile only.
Subject and preview text
Every template has a subject and a preview text, the line shown after the subject in the inbox.
Brand
Your logo, colours and font are set once under Brand and used by every template in the project. Change them there and all templates follow.
Languages
Use the Language menu to write the email in each of your project's languages. Each person gets it in their language when the template has it, otherwise in the project's default language. A block you haven't translated shows the default language.
Personal details
Use Personalize to insert any contact variable, such as {{first_name}} or {{plan}}. Add a fallback after a | for people who don't have it: {{first_name|there}}.
The footer
Every email ends with a footer saying why the person receives it, with a one-click unsubscribe link, and your postal address if you set one. It is added automatically and can't be removed.
Testing
Press Send test to send the email to yourself. Preview as… shows it with a real contact's details.
Good to know
A campaign or automation email copies its template when you create it. Editing the template later doesn't change emails already made from it.
