Sending a campaign
Send a template to the people you choose, now or later, and read the results.
A campaign sends one of your templates to the people you pick, once, at the time you choose. Go to Email › Campaigns and press New campaign.
1. Content
Choose a template. Each person gets it in their language when the template has it.
2. Audience
- Everyone who can be emailed, or one or more segments. Segments are saved filters from Users: by tag, by a property, by what people did.
- Leave out segments whose people shouldn't get it, even when they are in the audience.
The count shows who will actually receive it: people who are subscribed, at a confirmed address, and not bounced or suppressed. One email per address.

3. Send
- Send a test to yourself first.
- Send now, or at a set time.
What happens while it sends
- Checking the first 5% — campaigns to 500 people or more send the first 5%, then the rest about 10 minutes later if bounces and complaints look normal. If they don't, the campaign stops and the rest isn't sent.
- Warming up — a new sending domain has a daily limit. A larger campaign continues the next day.
- You can Pause, Resume or Stop a campaign while it is sending.
Reading the report
Open a sent campaign to see how many emails were delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, marked as spam and unsubscribed. Rates are of the emails delivered.

Under Recipients you can see exactly who:
- Filter by Delivered, Opened, Didn't open, Clicked, Unsubscribed, Bounced or Marked as spam.
- Search by email address.
- Export the list you are looking at as a CSV.
Limits
A campaign can go to as many people as your plan allows per campaign, and counts against your monthly emails. Both numbers are shown under the audience.
